White House

Frank Charles “Chuck” Loveland, 89, of White House passed away at his home on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Chuck was born in Coraopolis, PA, on October 31, 1932. Chuck became a Merchant Marine at the age of 14 and became a member of the US Marine Corps at 15. He spent much of his early life in Chicago, IL. Chuck became a diesel mechanic and made his way to Florida, later retiring with Rinker Material Corp. as an Industrial Maintenance Superintendent.

Chuck's loved ones adored him for the hardworking husband, father, and grandfather that he was. He exemplified a steadfast work ethic, had a knowledge of all sorts, but especially in the crafts of woodworking and fixing anything, had strong family values and a tender heart especially for those he loved. If there was something broken, he was the first one you called on for the solution. If a solution wasn’t already on the shelf in a store, you could bet he would design and create one in his own workshop at home. If he didn’t have the right tool, he would improvise and invent something to do the trick. Another big love of Chuck's life was boating. He enjoyed deep sea fishing and catching the "big one."

Chuck’s family meant everything to him. He always made his priority taking care of the family and being the man of the house. Along with his wife, Ann, they always put their family first, providing, most of all, love. He absolutely loved being with his grandchildren and delighted in spending time with them. They loved him as much, and the whole family is left with so many wonderful memories of him with his tools & contraptions, love and laughter, and so much more. He will be absolutely and greatly missed.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Ann Loveland, two sons, Kenny Loveland (Michelle) and Tom Loveland (Deanna), two daughters, Krista Lopez (Hector), and Laura Loveland, nine grandchildren: Ford-Thomas Loveland, Reeder Loveland, Kenna Loveland, Eli Loveland, Enzo Lopez, Emilio Lopez, Ava Loveland, Angelo Lopez, and Tatiana Lopez; and his sister, Dorothy Russman. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Loveland and his sister Marilyn Muto.

A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at a later date.
