Forrest Adams

Forrest Delano Adams, age 70, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2013. Survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Diane Adams; sister, Linda Parker; son, Eric Adams; daughters, Mischelle Cihlar, Pamela (Philip) Anderson, Amy (David) Greene; grandchildren, Christopher (Heather) Jones, Mikalaa Taylor, Joshua Adams, Michael Compton, Kearra Jordan, Elizabeth Greene; and four great-grandchildren. Son of Barthell and Dovie Lee (Shipp) Adams, born in Nashville, TN. Forrest enlisted in the Air Force at the age of seventeen and proudly served his country for 5 years, 1960-1965. His primary occupation was in sales management with Falstaff, Reed Distributing and Ajax Turner Company. In later years, he worked in real estate sales and was associated with Century 21 Premier. Forrest was a long time member of Madison Heights Baptist Church, where he devoted his time and talents. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Wednesday from 4-8 pm. Funeral service will be Thursday December 12 at 11am, with Pastor Timothy Stutler officiating. Burial will follow at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Madison Heights Baptist Church.
