Florence Naomi Reding, 91, of Gallatin and a longtime Goodlettsville resident passed away Friday September 10, 2021. Born May 10, 1931 in Goodlettsville, she was the daughter of the late Clayton Seaton Sr. and Sadie Bell Walker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tom Reding; and her siblings, Joe Seaton, Pete Seaton, Ed Seaton and Elizabeth Seaton. A devout Christian, she loved her church and had also worked as church custodian. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Goats (Ricky); grandson, Joshua Goats (Bethany); granddaughter, Tiffany Smith (Lukas); great grandchildren, Ellyot, Kinsley and Miloh Goats, and Liam Smith; brother-in-law, Harold Redding (Martha); nephew, Eddie Seaton; niece, Barbie Seaton; and great-nephews, Clint and Kirk. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 17th at 11 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Duane Wray and Jim Ryan officiating. Pallbearers will be Billy Murphy, Eddie Seaton, Kirk Seaton, Joshua Goats, Lukas Smith, and Kenny Elkins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude www.stjude.org , Vanderbilt Children’s hospital www.childrenshospitalvanderbilt.org , or to Tunnel to Towers Foundation https://t2t.org
