WARREN, Eva Elizabeth Hammond. February 19, 2008. Nashville. Born in Franklin, KY. An active member and elder of Hillwood Presbyterian Church; attended college at Bowling Green Business College; she was a pioneer executive in advertising and the television industry in Nashville, TN and also was the co-founder of Campbell-Dickey advertising agency in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was an avid tennis player and founder of the Virginia Slims Women's Tennis Tournament. She is survived by children, William Hammond Becky Dickey, Gilbert B. Martha Dickey III, Robin Lea Gary Satyshur, and Maris Elizabeth Mark Davis; grandchildren, Eva, Bill Jr., Deeanna Dickey, Laura, Gib IV, and Neill Dickey, Ben Satyshur, Elizabeth, Angela, and Murphy Davis; nephews, Bruce Sue Hammond, Charlie Sharon Hammond; niece, Irene C.A. Meisel. The memorial service will be at 3 pm on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Hillwood Presbyterian Church, 6220 Hickory Valley Rd, Nashville, TN 37205. Visitation will begin at 1 pm until the 3 pm service on Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hillwood Presbyterian Church.
