Eunice Murelene Heatherly
Died peacefully at home surrounded by family February 13, 2014, after an extended illness. She is survived by a devoted and loving husband of 67 years, Stroud Heatherly. She is preceded in death by mother and step- father Dollie and Tassard Edgin; father, Thomas Richardson; sisters, Vera Mae Hasty (Leo), Danilou Richardson, Billy Jo Gilliam, and Libby Boggus. She is survived by daughter Debbie Russell, son Sherwin (Terri) Heatherly; grandchildren, LaRhonda (Terry) Cart, Audrey (Aaron) Williams, Heather Russell (Ben Pugh), and Ryan Heatherly; great- grandchildren, Lennox and Jace Williams; sister-in-laws, Nada Heatherly and Jane Heatherly; many nieces and nephews. She is survived by special friends, Marvin and Imogene Rogers, Troy and Marie Slay, and Evelyn Adams; The Funeral service will be on Monday, February 17, 2014, at 1pm, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Reverend Troy Slay officiating. Private family interment will be at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers: Terry Cart, Aaron Williams, Ryan Heatherly, David Mundy, Lee Williams, Jody George and Ben Pugh. Special thanks to Dee Wigger, Eva Covington, & Sarah Sedille of Caris Healthcare, Dr. Mark Goldfarb, Dr. Gary McDonald, & Dr. Robert Fallis for their devotion and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
