Emma Lou Keen, 69, of Dickson, TN passed away unexpectedly April 19, 2022. Born January 13, 1953 in Nashville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Homer L. Keen and Mattie Lou Campbell. Emma was also preceded in death by a grandson, William H. Craig III; and her sisters, Mary Ramsey, Sue Thomas and Barbara Brewington. She had lived in Dickson the past 20 years and had been active with the Dickson County Senior Citizens Center. Emma loved to cook and clean. She had worked as a cook at several area restaurants including Mallards Family Restaurant and Cracker Barrell. She enjoyed bowling and roller-skating and had played softball for many years. Emma was active with the ”Band Moms” in Dickson when her granddaughters, Angel and Crystal were in the marching band. She was also a drummer herself and loved playing them. Emma along with her dear friends Connie Harris and Rosetta Matlock were instrumental in raising the two girls. Emma is survived by her son, William Craig (Angela); her daughter, Alicia Ruiz; 11 grandchildren including, Angel Ferguson (Cody) and Crystal Craig; 6 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Homer Keen (Debbie), Richard Keen (April), Margie Mooneyhan (Paul) and Teresa Venavides as well as her close friend and caregiver, Connie Harris, and many other friends including, Paula Schreck. A celebration of life service will be held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, TN on Saturday, April 30th at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be held Saturday from 12 noon until 3:00 PM
