Elsa Morris was born in Franklin KY on August 26, 1930 and died January 24, 2015 from natural causes.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Edward David Morris; her parents, Hershel and Ova Sampson; four brothers, Wendall Sampson, Hap Sampson, Carroll Sampson, Bobby Sampson; one sister, Delsa Abney.

Elsa is survived by her children, Wayne Edward Morris Nashville, Steve Sampson Morris ,Nashville, Peggy Morris (Al) Campbell; two grandchildren, Derek Edward (Tiffany) Yandell , Jackson, TN, Shelby Yandell, Nashville, and brother, Kermit Sampson, Burr Oak, MI.

Elsa was a member of National Association of Realtors, and recipient of the Lifetime Awards Designation. She is the proprietor of Elsa Morris Properties, a member of Goodlettsville Cumberland Presbyterian, Madison Chamber of Commerce, Women's Council, Old Hickory Women's Club, order of Eastern Star, and National Association of Professional Women.

A special thank you to her devoted caregivers: Dorothy Carr, LaDonne' Bently, and Kelly Carr, and her faithful assistant, Anne Stevens.

The family will be receiving friends at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home Goodlettsville Tuesday January 27 from 4-7pm. Chapel service will be held Wednesday at 10 am with interment to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the non-profit of your choice.
