Elmer Earl Scott, age 79, of Goodlettsville, passed away Saturday morning, January 10, 2015 at the Skyline Medical Center.
Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Clara Hix Scott.
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen D. Scott; brother, James D. Scott (Pearlie); nephew, Donnie Scott (Beth); and a niece, Lynda Scott.
The family will receive friends from 3-6pm Thursday at the Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, and again from 10-11am Friday at the Rivergate Church of Christ. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Friday at the church with Sellers Crain and James Farris officiating.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Mr. Scott's honor to the Rivergate Church of Christ, 201 Alta Loma Road, Madison, TN 37115, or to, Polio Heroes of TN, Support Group, c/o Nickie Lancaster, R.N., 529 Albany Drive, Hermitage, TN 37076.
