EDWARDS H. Elmer, age 100, died peacefully Friday December 14, 2007, in Fayetteville, TN. Son of Ben F. Edwards and Zudia Smith Edwards, he was reared in Dickson Co. TN. For the last 80 years to age 99, he lived in Nashville and after 45 years of service he retired in 1972 from TEMCO, Inc. He was a former trustee and active member of West Nashville United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by wife of 59 years Blanche Oliver Edwards, he is survived by son Dr. Maurice E. Edwards, Chattanooga, TN., and daughter Norma E. John Bradford, Fayetteville, TN. 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren. Family will receive visitors Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. A service of remembrance will be led by the Rev. William Hall Jr. at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home Tuesday December 18, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
