SIMMONS, Elizabeth Shively "Libby"- Age 84 beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away May 30, 2010. She was preceded in death by husband of fifty years, Jack Simmons. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted children, Jackie Watkins Bill, Wayne Simmons Anne; grandchildren, Kelly Hutchison Steve, Stephanie Booth, Ashley Mohan Jonathon; great-grandchildren, Hunter Hutchison, Houston Hutchison and Cody Booth; sisters, Ann Shively, Francis West Kenneth; brothers, Charles Shively June, Raymond Shively Lillian, Jerry Shively Sarah and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home officiating by Dr. Richard Lee and Dr. Tom Clark, with burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be Bill Watkins, Steve Hutchison, Jonathan Mohan, Bob Harriman, Derrick Osborne, Amos Blake and Murphy Garvin. Honorary pallbearers will be Bellsouth Telephone Pioneers and members of the Steadfast Class of Harpeth Heights Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday & 1 hour prior to service Wednesday at Harpeth Hills. The family wishes to thank Dr. Gary McDonald and staff and The Waterford Assisted Living Adult Day Care staff.
