Elizabeth Ann Rogers, age 88, passed away on July 12, 2019. She was born in Boone County, Kentucky to the late Earl and Zelda Mudman. She had a brother Bobby Mudman, and sister, Carolyn Nixon who both preceded her in death. She was married on June 3, 1952 to John Rogers, who passed away in 1998. They resided in Hendersonville for many years, and had twin daughters, Carole (Keith) Thompson, and Cheryle (Shelton) Hunt. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jared and Devin Thompson, and Jason and Brandon Hunt, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rodgers was a loyal and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker for many years so she could raise her daughters. Later she worked for the American Red Cross. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Cottontown. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House Tuesday July 16 from 10 am until service at 1pm in the Chapel. Interment will follow at White House Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
