Elizabeth Gibson

Elizabeth Dortch Gibson (1932-2016) Daughter of the late Henry Shane and Johnnie Sue Brisby Gibson of Nashville, passed away June 20, 2016 at her home in East Nashville. She graduated from Central High School and worked at National Life Insurance Company (later American General) as an insurance underwriter until her retirement. She was a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Survived by her brother, Dan H. Gibson of Goodlettsville; her sister, Helen Gibson Matthews (Sam) of Round Rock, Texas; nieces, Rachel Bryant Schwebach and Anita Bryant Garza (Felix) of Austin and Round Rock, Texas; grand nieces and nephew, Christina Schwebach, Hannah and Daniel Garza; and several cousins in the Nashville and Houston areas.
