Eleanor Mathes

ELEANOR ANNE PITTS MATHES, wife of Robert Louis Mathes, Sr. Passed away on November 12, 2010. The daughter of the late John Henry and Mary Helen Pitts. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary E. Sinclair and a niece, Mary Weglarz. She is survived by her husband, a sister, Kathryn Krauskopf; a niece, Anne Marie Krauskopf, both of Washington, D. C. and her stepson, Larry Mathes of Hendersonville, Tn. She received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education and taught school in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She was previously a member of the Woman's Club of Nashville, Richland Country Club and Bridgewater Alumni Association. In 1999 she established a scholarship fund for students at Bridgewater who are from Quincy, Mass. The family would like to express their appreciation to the management and staff of Belmont Village Assisted Living. In lieu of flowers , memorials may be made to the Eleanor P.
