Eileen Petrelli

PETRELLI, Eileen Margaret Age 72 of Hendersonville, departed this life on April 24, 2007 in the tranquility of her home, after a courageous battle against cancer. Special gratitude to Dr. Hande & Dr. Chakravarthy, and everyone at Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center who treated Mrs. Petrelli with the utmost kindness, care and respect throughout her struggle. Mrs. Petrelli was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nancy Reardon; cherished son, Philip PJ Petrelli; brother and sister-in-law, John and Dorothy Reardon; and niece, Kathleen Reardon-Collins. Mrs. Petrelli is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Philip John Petrelli; beloved daughter, Peg Fred Petrelli-Zahn; much adored only grandchild, Reilly Joseph; nephew, John Kevin Reardon of Farieda, FL; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marie & Robert Fitzgerald of New York; and nephew, Robert Fitzgerald of California. In addition to being a devoted mother to her children & family, Mrs. Petrelli was woman of faith, courage and dedication, who worked tirelessly on behalf of those special people in our community with mental retardation. She had passion and dreams, which helped to make Tennessee Family Solutions a reality. Memorial donations may be to Tennessee Family Solutions, Inc., 301 S. Visitation with the Petrelli family will be from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will conducted 11 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2007 from Our Lady of the Lake Church, where Mrs. Petrelli was a long standing member. Father William Bevington will officiate.
