Edna Lauderdale

LAUDERDALE, Edna Earle McDowell- Age 96, died at home Feb. 11, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Floyd Eugene Lauderdale; her parents Whitelaw Reid and Vicie Williams McDowell; her 4 brothers Louis, Mac, Doug and Alvin McDowell and her sister, Vernelle Wade. She is survived by her daughter Jane Preston Kopf; her 3 grandchildren Tricia Roderick Russ, Nancy Ren Osburn and Jim Grace Kopf; 8 great grandchildren—Jamison, Eric, Mac and Mary Helen Russ, Alex, Riley, Katelyn and Julia Claire Osburn; nieces Janis Robert Foster, Mary Ann John Ford, Mary Catherine Webb and Kathy McDowell and her nephew John McDowell. She was a member of Hillsboro Church of Christ for over 60 years. The family will have a private graveside service and will then celebrate her life with family and friends at a memorial service to be announced later. We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to Ida Thompson for her excellent care that allowed Mother to be at home.
