E. Claude Pearson, 84, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at his home. Born in Nashville, October 1, 1937, Claude was the son of the late Lamont Pearson and Lucille Scroggins Pearson. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Martin and Peggy Vance. A proud Navy veteran, he enlisted after high school and served for 8 years. He learned the printing trade while in the navy. This was a skill which translated into his civilian life as an employee at the Methodist Publishing House and also through his own printing business. Claude also worked in real estate and in the automobile business. One of his greatest passions was the repair and restoration of John Deere tractors. He was a member of Portland General Baptist Church. A devoted family man, Claude loved his children and grandchildren more than anything else. He is survived by his wife of nearly 45 years, Linda Ireland Pearson; his son, Rodney (Tracy) Pearson; his daughter, Pamela Husak (Wally); grandchildren, Savannah and Olivia Pearson, Dawn Richardson (Wayne),and Ryan (Amy) Husak; great-grandson, Trey Richardson; and his brother, Thomas (Donna) Pearson; extended family and friends. Visitation for Claude will be held Thursday from 10 AM until 2 PM at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House, TN with a celebration of life service at 2 PM. Burial will follow at White House Memorial Gardens.
