Duc Nguyen

NGUYEN, Duc, age 48, was joined to our Lord and Savior on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 2:30 p.m.. Duc was born in Vietnam on September 30, 1960. He graduated from Knoxville Catholic High Scool in 1978. He attended undergraduate studies in UT Knoxville. In 1982, Duc joined the United States Tobacco Company until 2009. Duc married Naila Manuel on September 1992 in Nashville, TN. He was a dedicated father and loving husband for 17 years. He enjoyed family gatherings, cooking, fishing and spent most of his time with his children and Naila. Duc is survived by his wife, Naila, his 3 daughters, Anj, Linh and Hanh; his mother, Diem Do; his 6 sisters, Tam Weyrich, Lynn Scott, Shuong Vo, Tung Phan, Lien Smith, MyTrang Nguyen, and one brother, Minh Nguyen. Duc Nguyen was preceded in death by his father, Am Nguyen at 2:55 am., April 27, 2009. Funeral Mass for Duc and Am Nguyen will be held at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, 2015 West End Ave., Saturday, May 2 at 10:00 a.m.. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
