THOMASON Ph, D, William Olin passed away on April 6, 2007. Dr. Thomason earned a Civil Engineering Degree from Auburn University, a Master of Religious Education and a Doctor of Education from Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary. He was the Executive Vice President of the Baptist Sunday School Board which he later named Lifeway. He was the CEO of MRG Company. Past president of Hillwood Country Club, Author of the books The Life Givers and The Enterprise a Bundle of Energy, A member of Christ Presbyterian Church, he was a recipient of the Bronze Star during WWII at the Battle of the Bulge. Dr. Thomason is preceded in death by his brother Hubert Thomason. He is survived by his wife Carol Ann Tidwell Thomason; daughter Linda Daniel Thomason Brown; step-daughters, Julie Tim Huffman, Amy Mike Hammer, Lee Ann Steve Cole; brother, John A. "Tutt" Thomason; sisters, Jeannie Crowder, Jeanette Jeffers, Eloise Kirk, Roberta Perrin, Ruth Ward; 8 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Tuesday April 10, 2007 at 10 AM at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Larry Shelton, Admiral Jerry Breast and Charles McGowan providing the Eulogy and Randall Yearwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Dan Brown, Scott Heflinger, Mike Hammer, Steve Cole, John Duggan, Boddie Jordan, John Park and Bill Park Nephew will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Baum, Bob Rourk, Allen Hovious, John McGonagle, Mike Lathrop and the David Booth Sunday School Class Christ Presbyterian Church. In Lieu of flowers can be made to Alive Hospice St. Thomas 3rd floor at 4220 Harding Rd. Nashville TN. 37205. Dr. Thomason was a Dedicated Christian and a Believer in The Lord.
