YARBROUGH, Dorothy Dietz went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2010 at age 95. She was born on Sept. 8, 1914 in Ringgold, GA. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Edward and Annie Dietz. She was preceded in death by her husband Verner H. Yarbrough, Sr. and sister Louise D. Greene. She is survived by daughter, Barbara Y. Lackey Norm of Nashville and two sons, William Ed Yarbrough of Nashville and Verner Herb Yarbrough, Jr. Mary of Little Rock, AR. She has 7 grandchildren, Annette B. Raymer David of Spring Hill, TN, Nathan L. Bass Kristi of Madison, TN. And Jeanne Joyner Harold, Carol Tennyson Chuck, Herbert Yarbrough Patty, John Yarbrough Emily and Mark Yarbrough all of Little Rock, AR. She also had 6 great grandchildren she dearly loved and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a long time member of St. Paul Southern Methodist Church and the Ragan Sunday School Class. She was secretary at MTA Anesthesiologists until she was 75 and enjoyed retirement after that time. She was loved by her many family, friends, neighbors and staff at Trevecca Health Care where she spent these last 3 months. Active pall bearers are her grandsons and grandsons in law. Honorary pall bearers are the Ragan Class members. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gideons International West Camp or St. Paul Community Church. Funeral service will be on Tues. Mar. 30 at 2:00 p.m at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Dr. Ronald R. Carrier officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30 to 2:00.
