Doris Jean Stockton age 81, of Goodlettsville passed away on October 7, 2015.

She was born in Nashville, TN to the late Dennis and Maude Underwood.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Stockton is preceded in death by her husband Edward Haskell "Big Ed" Stockton; son, Dennis Edward Stockton and great-grandson, Patrick Aaron Wade.

She is survived by daughter, Vickie (Dennis) Wade; son, Ron (Lei) Stockton; grandchildren, Katina (Greg) Spencer, Marty (Danna) Stockton, Jonathan Wade, Jeremie (Sarah) Wade, Rebecca Wade, Aidan Stockton, and Owen Stockton; and great-grandchildren, Timothy Henry, Dylan Henry, Caylie Stockton, Jace Stockton, Lily Wade, Noah Wade, Matthew Wade, Olivia Wade, Ethan Wade, and Ellie Wade.

A Life Celebration will be held on October 10th at 11am with Pastor Jeremie Wade and Reverend Lucretia Campbell officiating in the Chapel of Cole & Garrett Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Beech Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery on Whites Creek Pike. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 9th from 4-8pm then again on Saturday from 10am until the time of service.
