Donald Raymond Green, better known as Ampa, was born on April 6, 1927 in Endicott, New York.
He was preceded in death by his parents Christine and Ralph Green, his Grandson Daniel Jensen, and wife of 59 years, the love of his life, June (Joanie) Green.
Donald leaves behind three children; Son, Richard Green, Daughters and their spouses, Donna and Richard Firenze, and Sandra and Daniel Jensen; nine Grandchildren & their spouse's, Richard Green, Stanley and Heather Green, Kerrin and Ross Clapper, Paul and Janet Firenze, Rick Firenze, Jeremy Holmes, Marianne Thomas, Heather Spivey, Christopher Jensen and Shannon Jensen; fifteen Great Grandchildren, Tyler, Cameron, Haley, Kaylynn, Autumn, Riley, Dylan, Averie, Jack, Grace, Danny, Danielle, Luke, Allie, and Jamie.
Donald served in World War II as a Fireman CB 1st. Class USN.
Donald loved Horse racing, Nascar Racing, Golfing, Fishing & the Casino's.
When he was a young man his family owned a moving company and moved many families to the Triple Cities area for work at the Endicott Johnson Shoe Factories. He worked for many years as a Culligan Man delivering water tanks and then, until he retired, as a Plumber and Electrician.
