Donald Dye

DONALD M. DYE age 82 of Madison, Friday May 14, 2010. Mr. Dye was a veteran of World War II, and a graduate of Peabody College. He was retired from Aladdin Industries after 40 years service and was a Deacon at the Hendersonville First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 62 years; Gloria Dye, son; Eric Wendy Dye, granddaughters; Mei Lin and Kathryn Dye, brother; Billy K. Dye, sisters; Juanita Grantham and Bettye Fay Glover. Several nieces also survive. His family will receive friends from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 P.M. on Sunday May 16 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M. on Monday May 17 from the Chapel of the Hendersonville First Baptist Church with Rev. Courtney Wilson and Rev. Bruce Chesser officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderbilt Neurology Parkinsons Research Fund.
