Dimple "Sue" Flynn, 77, of White House, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at her home. Born October 30, 1947, in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Walter Tidwell and Rosa Mae Parks Tidwell.  She lived a vibrant life marked by her unwavering spirit and zest for living, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and connection.

As the beloved owner and operator of Country Boys Bar, Sue created a welcoming space for her community where friendships flourished and memories were made. Her bar was more than just a place to gather; it was a hub of joy and camaraderie, reflecting her socially engaging nature. Known for being a true "spitfire," Sue was a woman of style and presence, never venturing out without being perfectly made up. She embraced life's pleasures wholeheartedly, especially through her love for dancing and the iconic music of Dolly Parton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Carl "Bubba" Edmonds and grandson Michael Kobold.

Sue was deeply devoted to her family, who were the center of her universe. She took immense pride in caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nurturing them with the same love and warmth that defined her life. Her cherished family includes her lifelong partner, Cecil Hicks, her sister Carolyn (Larry) Isabell, her daughter Lisa Bain, her son Billy (Lindsey) Brake, her daughter Shanda Brake, and her son Keith Brake. She also leaves behind a proud lineage of grandchildren: Jessica (Jeramia)Jones, Cody Brake, Tyler (Kristen) Brake, Dalton (Taylor) Brake, Curtis Gann, Austin (Kaci) Hicks, Hunter (Cheyenne) Hicks, Gavin (Natalie) Burton, and Chelsey Burton; and nine great grandchildren.

In honoring Sue's remarkable life, the community is invited to gather for visitation at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in White House, on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A celebration of her life will follow the next day, Sunday, December 15, 2024, also at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, beginning at 2:00 PM and concluding at 3:00 PM.  The family will welcome friends and visitors two hours prior to Sunday's funeral.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Municipal Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Cody Brake, Tyler Brake, Dalton Brake, Curtis Gann, Colin Dixon and Jeramia Jones.

As family and friends come together to reminisce about Dimple Sue Flynn, they will undoubtedly reflect on the countless beautiful memories she has left behind, ensuring her joyful spirit continues to shine brightly in their hearts.
