DELAR ELISABETH MITCHELL, age 68 of Hendersonville, Tn., Saturday, August 21, 2010. She is survived by her husband; Thomas E. Mitchell, sons; Barry Mitchell, Glen Karen Mitchell and Tim Mitchell, daughter; Amy Scott Horton, brothers; Teddy Powers , John Powers, Robert Powers, Mark Powers, and David Powers, sisters; Wilma Blair and Rachel Duck. 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild also survive. Her family will receive friends from 5 – 8 P.M. on Monday, August 23 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. on Tuesday August 24 from the Chapel of the First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, Tn. with Rev. John Powers officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolence Fund at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, Tn.
