LOGUE, Debra Ellen. Age 57, April 13, 2006, from cancer, oldest daughter of Neal and Ellen Logue, born November 24, 1948, in Nashville, TN. Debbie graduated from Stratford High School and later attended Freed Hardiman University and MTSU before graduating from David Lipscomb University. Growing up she attended Riverwood Church of Christ and later became a long-standing member of Community Church in Hendersonville. She worked for over 20 years as executive secretary for Hal Durham, general manager of the Grand Ole Opry. After he retired she worked for some years at Word Entertainment. The highlight of her life was her two children, Julia Katherine Logue and Jeffery Neal Logue. Debbie loved people and was loved by many. She will be missed more than words can convey. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Ashley Logue, and grandparents, Homer and Julia Ashley and James Frank and Rebecca Logue. She is survived by parents, Neal and Emily Logue, children Julia and Neal Logue, sister, Julia "Dusty" Post, and brothers, Robert "Bob" Logue and wife, Cemile, Kenneth Dunn and wife, Laurie, and Randall Dunn and wife, Rhonda, nieces Jennifer Post and Isabella Logue, nephew Jonathan Post, and one great-nephew, Connor Stauss. Debbie is also survived by a host of faithful, loving, and generous extended family and friends. You are always in our hearts, Debbie.
Debbie's "Going Home Celebration" will be held on Sunday, April 23, at 2:00 at Community Church in Hendersonville. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the children's trust at Community Church.
