David White, age 68, of Goodlettsville, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2020, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his dearly loved family -- chatting and listening to music. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Virginia White. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Nancy (Guy)White; his children Katherine (Katie) White of Nashville, Kendall White Elsass and husband Noah of Hendersonville, Annie White Williams and husband Joe of Thompsons' Station; and his grandchildren Henry and Oliver Elsass and Andie Kate Williams. Also surviving is his sister, Jane Larmon White and her daughter Virginia, of Massachusetts. A life-long member of Connell Memorial United Methodist Church and a graduate of Goodlettsville High School, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Tennessee State University. He went into business with his father, managing the East Hills Mobile Home Park for more than forty years. His true passion was music and, most recently, playing keyboards with the World Famous Channel Cats. Due to the pandemic, a private family service will be held. In his memory, listen to some good music and smile as he would. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Nature Conservancy to honor his love of all living things.
