GOURLEY, Daniel, age 67, Nashville, passed away at home on May 29, 2010, surrounded by family and friends. Preceded in death by his mother, Christine Barnes; brother, George Gourley; sister, Peggy Gourley Rose. He is survived by his wife, Christiana Gourley; sons, Marshall Gourley and Alan Jill King; daughter, Danette Gourley Henley; grandchildren, Micah Henley, Brian King and Mary Elizabeth King; sisters, Sarah Kerr and Robin Black; brother, Gerald Black; brothers in law, Michael Betty Ann Stevens and Donavon Lucha Stevens; nephews, William Kerr, Jr., Robert Rose, Carl Gourley and Gerald Black, Jr.; nieces , Debra Steinmetz, Nancy Lovell, Carolyn Hamm, Ginger Rose, Tanya Gann and Lea Ann Thrush, special Goddaughters, Shavon Martin, Stephanie Warden and Anissa Beard; God-grandchildren, Katie Martin and Robby Cook. Also, thank you to Wanda Miller-Sawyers for making him smile during the last days. Daniel was a member of River Road Church of Christ for 47 years. He directed the church camp at Lylewood Christian Camp for many years. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Alive Hospice Team Elaine Franklin, Beverly Hart, Dahl Johnson and Theresa Carrington. The funeral service will be at 12 noon Monday, May 31, 2010.
