Dale Hallett

Dale was a U.S. Army Veteran who loved God and his Country. Dale retired from Southern Machinery after 30 years going from welder to shop supervisor. He was respected and a friend to those who worked with him.
Dale was a loving husband to Vera Hallett for 46 years, until God called her home. Dale never remarried. He was a wonderful father to his two daughters, Evelyn Wilkins and Belinda Sutton. Always loving and giving ‘til the very last day of his life.
Dale was a friend to those who knew him and quick to lend a helping hand to his friends and neighbors. He enjoyed singing and playing his guitar at the Jamboree on Long Hollow Pike. Dale also enjoyed mowing his lawn, tending his plants, flowers and bushes, which was what he was doing when he suffered a massive stroke and the Lord called him home.
There is an old saying that "Only the good die young" and at the age of 82 he was much too young, for Dale will be missed by all who knew him.
