Curtis Arthur Huston of White House, TN passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at his residence. Curtis was born October 6, 1928 in Charleston, West Virginia to parents, Arthur Rigdon Huston and Emma Louise Buckner Huston.
Curtis grew up on a dairy farm near Charleston, West Virginia. He loved growing up on a farm and always wished to live on a farm later in life. He had a love for gardening and raising beautiful flowers. Curtis spent his working years as an accountant. He was a WWII veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. Curtis married the love of his life on April 30, 1949. Curtis and Naomi were blessed to be married for 67 years.
He was preceded in death by their son, Gregory Arthur Huston. He is survived for his loving and devoted wife Naomi Parsons Huston; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Michael Moody, daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Greg Frazier; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2016 in the little white chapel of The Church at Grace Park with Pastor Bob Cook and Bro. Louie Roberts officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram. The American Legion of Greenbrier will honor Curtis at the time of his service.
