Clementine Sutton

SUTTON, Clementine LeGrand Spence-Age 88. July 29, 2008. Preceded in death by husband, Frederick Barton Sutton.
Mrs. Sutton was born in Birmingham, Alabama. She attended Birmingham Southern University and The University of Alabama where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She was a life-long Presbyterian and a Charter Member of Shady Grove Presbyterian Church, Memphis, TN. She was a member of The Junior League of Birmingham, as well as a member of The Goodwill Auxiliary in Memphis, Tn. Mrs. Sutton is survived by two daughters, Carol LeGrand Sutton and Jane Barton Sutton; one brother-in-law, Herbert Spence Sutton, Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Rose Sutton and Eva Spence, and several cousins. Graveside service will be 2:30 pm Friday at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 1:00-2:30 pm Friday at
