Christopher Todd Compton, age 55 of Cross Plains, passed away on February 21, 2021. He was born in Bowling Green, KY on August 2, 1965. He was preceded in death by his father, Sherrill Compton, and grandparents Aaron and Mildred Moulder, and sister-in-law Sandra Readfearrin Hendricks. He is survived by his mother Lana Compton Wright; wife, Missie Compton; daughters, Misty (Fletcher) Bolling, Tiffany (Conor) Harrell, Courtney (Josh) Hesson; grandchildren, Madison, Cameron, Hannah, William, Preston, and Elijah; sister, Gayle (Bennie) Atwell; brother, Brian Compton; nephews, Dalton, Drake, and Lukas; niece, Crystal, and father and mother-in-law, Horace and Nancy Redfearrin. Christopher loved the outdoors, fishing, and hunting, and enjoyed watching NASCAR and football. Mostly he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. A celebration of life will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home White House on Friday February 26 at 4:00 PM with visitation from 2pm until service time.
