Mrs. Christine Powers of Portland, TN passed away March 13, 2015 at her residence in Portland, TN. She was 64 years of age.

Christine was born June 25, 1950 in Rockford, IL to parents, Charlie Matthews and Margaret Clayton Matthews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bill Powers; children, Kelly (Richard) Alcorn, Lori (Stacy) Wortham, LeAnn Powers, Daniel Powers (Michelle Lefort); brother, Frank (Shirley) Matthews; sisters, Lois Hensley and Mary Bailey; five grandchildren, Caleb Payne, Christie Reed, Nicholas Reed, Hannah Wortham, Andrew Powers; three great-grandchildren, Gracie, Preslynn and Adley.

A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 16th at The Church at Grace Park with Pastor Bob Cook and Chuck May officiating.
