Chlotele Lawson

LAWSON, Chlotele King, age 93. Went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2010. Preceded in death by husband, Binkley Lawson; sister, Frieda Smith; brother, Romal King; sisters, Eva King, Neva Cook. Survived by daughter, Lynne George Howell; nieces, Patricia Frey and Sara Haynes. Mrs. Lawson was a registered nurse and retired in 1984 from General Hospital. During her many years of retirement, she enjoyed traveling with the Nurse Alumnae, her traveling buddies and family. She took great pleasure in caring for children at Mother's Day Out. She was a long time devoted member of Western Hills Church of Christ. The funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, April 26, 2010 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Nashville Humane Society and Alive Hospice.
