STUART, Charles Edward, Sr. - Age 78 of Pegram. March 24, 2010. Mr. Stuart a was well known resident of Pegram where he served as constable of Cheatham County 5th District for over 50 yrs and a Founding member of the Pegram Community Club. Mr. Stuart was also a retiree from N. E. S. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Nancy Pauline "Polly" Stuart; son, Charles Edward Stuart, Jr. Mai; daughters, Elaine Clinton, Sharon Joe McDowell, Nancy Bruzzer Jennette, Becky Lane; 14 grandchildren, Brian, Sandy, Deanie, Bubba, Jennifer, Joe, Tressa, Tonya, Crystal, Kelly, Trey, Vaughn, Rocky, Jason; 10 great-grandchildren, Mason, Grant, Stephen, Sydney, Dylan, Angela, Tiffany, Katherine, John John, and Charley; 1 great-great-grandchild, Christian. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Clark Officiating. Burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be Brian, Bubba, Trey, Vaughn, Rocky, Jason, Joe and Derek; Honorable Pallbearers will be Members of the Cheatham County Sheriffs Dept., Kingston Springs Police Dept. and Special Friends, Sheriff John Holder; Judge Phil Maxey, Julie Womack, Jimmy Noe and friends at the Cheatham County Court House.
