Smith, Charles "Pete" Milton, Sr., 73, March 7, 2007. Longtime member and Elder of West Nashville Cumberland Presbyterian Church and retired from BellSouth. Preceded in death by, parents, Jesse A. and Bessie Cowell Smith; sister, Marjorie Smith Marable; brother, Jesse "Sonny" Smith. Survived by wife of 52 years, Barbara Gray Smith; sons, Chuck Julie Smith, Jeff Beth Smith; brother, Cordell Trish Smith; sister, Doris Smith Mimms; grandchildren, Brandi Doyle Taylor, Robbie Smith, Stefanie Smith, Erica Smith, Patrick Smith, Derek Smith; 2 great- grandchildren. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007 at West Nashville Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Rickey Page officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Robbie Smith, Patrick Smith, Derek Smith, Jeff Dillingham, Michael Gray and Randy Mimms. Honorary pallbearers will be the Loyalty Sunday School Class, BellSouth Breakfast Group, Raymond Berlin, Dean Burns, Ron Doss, Robert Gray and Ronnie Gray.
