Charles Hay

HAY, Charles E., age 79 of Goodlettsville, passed away February 15, 2013. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Hay; granddaughter, Kaitlin Pardue. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Wanda; daughter, Charlie (Jason) Ward; precious granddaughter, Kayla Pardue; also daughter, Brenda Harrison; granddaughter, April Hay; sisters, Odelene, Ruby Jean, Ernestine, Lorene; numerous nieces and nephews. Charlie was a well known, respected police officer for Metro Davidson County for over 40 years. Family will receive friends Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 4-8pm and 1-8pm on Monday at Cole & Garrett, Goodlettsville. Funeral Service 12 noon Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church, 1004 S. Dickerson Rd. with visitation 1hr prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be, Mario Hambrick, Forrest Garrett, Rhonda Upchurch, Kay Martin, John Jackson, Mickey Elrod, Jack Stephens and Mark Stephens. Honorary pallbearers will be former police chief, Joe Casey, present police chief, Steve Anderson, former mayor, Richard Fulton, past and present metro police officers, employees of Stephens Brothers and Shur-Brite car wash.
