Charles Hampton

HAMPTON, Dr. Charles E. passed away on March 5, 2007. Dr. Hampton is an alumnus of Free Will Baptist Bible College, Oklahoma Baptist University, Oklahoma University, and The University of Texas. He also retired from Free Will Baptist Bible College after 26 years. He is preceded in death by his brother James Hampton. Dr. Hampton is survived by his wife Peggy Hampton; children, Shari Jeff Hampton Windom, Brian Karen Hampton, Captain Joel E. Shelly Hampton, Leslie Kevin Hester, Jennifer Allen Bowen; 15 grandchildren; brothers, Ralph C. Hampton Jr., Larry Hampton. Funeral services will be on Wednesday March 7, 2007 at 2 P.M. at the Free Will Baptist Bible College with Dr. Paul Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME, 9090 Hwy 100, 646-9292. Memorial contributions may be made to Hampton Scholarship Fund at FWBBC or Alive Hospice.
