Mr. Charles Earl Goolsby of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Northcrest Medical Center in Springfield, TN. He was born August 29, 1950 in Nashville, Tennessee to parents, Charlie Wade Goolsby and Gladys Elese Goad Goolsby who preceded Charles in death. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Brown, Lois Johnson and brother, Jerry Goolsby.

Charles is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kathy Lynn and Jeremy Norton of Cottontown; brother, Tony (Sherry) Goolsby; sisters, Patsy (Jimmy) Potts, Betty (Lynn) Nicholson; grandchildren, Austin Norton, Kaitlynn Norton, Makayla Crutcher, Caleb Crutcher; best friend, Cathy Goolsby and her daughter Brandie.

Charles's life work was in masonry. He was known as a man who had a heart of gold. Charles loved golfing, fishing and his #1 team, Vanderbilt. He will be missed and remembered by many.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2016 at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in White House, Tennessee. Interment will follow at White House Memorial Gardens in White House, Tennessee.

Visitation will be Monday, December 26th from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m.
