Charles Gilbert, Sr.

GILBERT, SR., Charles Edward. Age 80, died Sunday, November, 21, 2010. Preceded in death by wife, Jean Morris Gilbert; sister, Mamie Gilbert; father, Gettys Gilbert; and mother, Delia Gilbert. Survived by son Charles Edward Kristi Gilbert, Jr.; daughter, Leslie Jean Kenny West; grandchildren, Weldon West and Mackenna Gilbert; brother James Freda Gilbert; and four nieces. He was a member of the West Nashville Masonic Lodge #612, 32nd Degree Mason, and the Brentwood Shrine Golf Group. The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Friends and family will serve as Pallbearers. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Lasting memorials may be made to Alive Hospice of Middle Tennessee or Shriners Children Hospital of Nashville.
