Catherine Rennolds

RENNOLDS, CATHERINE BOGLE - age 100, of Nashville, passed away peacefully at home on January 4, 2008 after a brief illness. She was born in Centerville, Tennessee, the oldest child of the late Aubrey W. Bogle, Sr. and Mary Thompson Bogle. She attended Peabody College and taught school for several years prior to her marriage to John T. Rennolds. She was an enthusiastic gardener and a long time member of the Warner Park Garden Club and the Belmont United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, John; brothers, Joseph and Aubrey Bogle, Jr.; sisters, Elizabeth and Lilly Bogle; and nephew, Joseph Ellis Bogle. Survived by sister-in-law, Martha J. Bogle; nephews, Aubrey W. Bogle, III and Franklin Robert Bogle; nieces, Mary Anna Bogle, Betty Jane Perlack and Martha Catherine Bogle; great nieces Laura, Anna, Maggie and Taylor Bogle and Amy and Anna Perlack; and great nephews, Phillip, Ken and Joe Bogle. Memorials may be made to the Belmont United Methodist Church, 2007 Acklen Avenue, Nashville, TN 37212 or to the special projects fund of Warner Park Garden Club, c/o Linda Hemby treasurer, 8562 Sawyer Brown Rd., Nashville, TN 37221. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 12 from 11:00 to 12:00 in the chapel of the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with services to follow at 12:00.
