Carl Kingsbury

KINGSBURY, Carl Henry, age 76 of Madison, May 6, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Born in Alpena MI. Carl was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Margaret Kingsbury and his daughter Laura. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Clara; children, Jeffrey Kingsbury of Madison, Michael Kingsbury of White Bluff, TN, David Kingsbury of Madison, Clara Nell Farmer of Winchester TN, Emma Neil of Springfield TN, Rosemary Wade of LaVergne TN; grandchildren Andy, Tonya, Stephen, Tracey, Lisa, Katherine, Margaret, Emily, Wesley, Kasey, Jacob, Angela, and thirteen great grandchildren. Carl received a Bachelor of Science from David Lipscomb University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee. He worked for Madison Church of Christ for 13 years, and HCA for 26 years. Special thanks to Alive Hospice for their care and support and to the Madison Church of Christ congregation for their prayers and support during this difficult time. Visitation will be Friday May 7, 2010 at the Bixler Chapel of Madison Church of Christ 106 N. Gallatin Rd., Madison from 12-2 and 6-8 pm, Saturday May 8, 2010 from 10 am until service time at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Morning Star Women�'s Shelter and Comfort Zone in care of Madison Church of Christ.
