Mr. Buchanan "Buck" Jones, age 86, of White House, TN passed away on December 15, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Buck was born April 9, 1928 in Cottontown, TN to parents, Will Jones and Polly Jane Loftis Jones.
He was a hard working man all of his life and his favorite thing to do was read and study the Bible. He has read it completely through many times. Buck also was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.
Buck was preceded in death by his wife Lola Beatrice "Bea" Jones and by his son, Shorty Cawthon.
He is survived by three children, Lorie Ann (Bob) Galloway, Billy (Lawana) Jones and Larry (Donna) Cawthon; one sister, Martha Balcom; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Adam, Chelsey, Robert, Belinda, Mary and Jennifer; thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral service at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House, 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18th, 2014 with Bro. Clay Baggett officiating. Interment will follow at White House Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers, Adam Frank, Michael Jones, Jeff Crabtree, Joshua Crabtree, Randall Henderson, Bob Galloway and Robert Cawthon.
Visitation Wednesday, December 17th from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 10:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m.
