Bruce Roberts

Mr. Bruce Roberts, age 89 of Hendersonville, passed away May 19, 2010. Mr. Roberts was born November 3, 1920 in Chelsea, VT to Elmer Clarence and Alma Alice St. John Roberts. A World War II veteran, he served in the Army Air Corp seeing action in the European Theatre. After an honorable discharge from the Army, he worked for Dupont for 36 years, retiring from his position in production. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Louella Catron Roberts in 1990, his parents and many siblings. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra J. Roberts; his son, Stephen Bruce Roberts; his sister, Alma Turner; his grandson, Michael David Robison; his great-grandchild, Jordan Taylor Robison Thompson and many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial services will be conducted 5 p.m., Saturday, June 5, 2010 from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 5, from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Arrangements entrusted to Hendersonville Funeral Home, 615 824-3855.
