Bruce Herndon

Bruce F. Herndon, 57 of Greenbrier, TN passed away Friday January 7, 2022 at Northcrest Medical Center. Born in Nashville July 1, 1964, he was the son of Roy L Herndon and Linda R. Putman Herndon. Bruce was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Walter and Eudell Herndon; and also by his maternal grandparents, Buford and Gladys Putman. Bruce was a graduate of Goodlettsville High Schools class of 1983 where he was a stand-out wrestler. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed Nascar racing and the Tennessee Titans Football team. Bruce had helped install the Titan’s scoreboard at Nissan Stadium while he was employed by Joslin Sign Company. He was a flagman employed by Guardian Traffic Control and had previously worked for AWP Traffic Control. Bruce is survived by his parents, Roy L. and Linda P. Herndon; two brothers, Todd (Susan) Herndon and Ken (Kelly) Herndon; a niece, Rachel Pichardio (Waldy), their children, Catalina and Dominec; three nephews, Joshua Herndon, Tyler Herndon and Ryan Herndon; 5 aunts, 3 uncles, and 10 cousins as well as numerous friends. A celebration of life service will be held for Bruce on Saturday, January 15th at 4 PM at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Saturday from 2 – 4 PM.
