Bonnie Murrell

Bonnie Jearl Murrell, age 82, of Cottontown, passed away peacefully at home on February 4 ^th , 2023. She was born on June 15 ^th , 1940, in Flatwoods, LA to the late Barto Parker and Lessie Haley.

Mrs. Murrell is survived by her husband Jimmy R. Murrell; children, Dale Cates (Mark LeFevre), Loy Murrell, Randy Murrell (Carrie), Marilyn Mollard (Mike), Chet Murrell (Debbie), Mike Murrell, and Ted Murrell (Cleota). She is also survived by siblings Doris Deville (Jack), Estelle Burke, Patricia Templeton, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bonnie learned how to play the piano by ear at an early age and continued to play for church throughout her life. She also loved to cook and garden flowers but spending time with her grandchildren having their excursions around town is what she enjoyed most. She loved them with all her heart.
