THOMAS, George "Billy" 75, Nashville. October 28, 2007. A very gentle loving Christian man to his family and all he felt had need. He had great love for his country, his music, and his art. He was retired from Ford Glass Plant of 32 ½ years and was a charter member of New Beginning Southern Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Allie Thomas. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Martha Thomas; children, Rhonda Edward King, Billy Dean Theresa Thomas; grandchildren, Gloria Chris Walters, Mandi Andy Ford, Heather Gareth Collins, B.J. Thomas; great-grandchildren, Katie and Karlee Coble, Connor and Bella Collins, Allie Ford, Ryan Sorrow, Justin and Tyler Walters. The funeral service will be at 11 am on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Kinslow an Rev. Dan Shapley officiating. Interment at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
