Billy Anderson

Billy Joe Anderson, 87, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020. Born in Hickman County, TN, May 18, 1933, he was the son of the late Sewel Dennis Anderson and Mattie Pearl Craft Anderson. Billy spent his working career as an electrician with IBEW local 429. He had been a member of Hendersonville Lodge of Masons, O.E.S., and was also formerly a member of Al Menah Shrine in Nashville. Billy was a charter member of the Hendersonville Jaycees, first Cub Scout master in Hendersonville as well as a Boy Scout leader and Explorer Scout leader. He was a Christian man and member of Metro Baptist Church, Goodlettsville. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Judith Hopkins Anderson; three sons, Donald Joe (Carol) Anderson, James Richard (Brenda) Anderson, and Brad Duane Anderson; a sister, Ann Anderson (James) Woodson; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. A service in celebration of Billy's life will be held at Metro Baptist Church, Saturday, December 12th at 3 PM. Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville has been entrusted with his arrangements.
