He was preceded in death by his mother, Nettie Smith and sister, Betty Lou Pouncey. Survived by wife, Virginia Smith; children, Sandy Bissinger Stanley Rickey Smith, David Smith, Debbie Roberts Larry, Kim Uselton Terry; grandchildren, Gina Goddard Doug, Kenneth Wayne Barnes, Jr. Christy, Sonya Smith, Chris Smith, Logan Smith, Brian Smith Missy, Greg Smith Amanda, April Osborne Ben, Jason Roberts, Mindy Forshay Shane, Ryan Roberts, Erica Shoemaker Michael, Brandon Woodard Tabby and Emily Smith J.D.; great-grandchildren, Brittney Goddard Brandon, Blake Goddard Brittney, Brent Goddard, Tabetha Myatt Derrick, Kenneth Wayne Barnes, III, Kendell Jones, Jacob Capps, Tanner Smith, Hannah Smith, Austin Smith, Madison Rushton, Megan Rushton, Trinity Roberts, Hayden Roberts, Nicole Forshay, Bryce Forshay, Isabella Woodard and Silas Smith; great, great-grandchildren, Ava Vanatta, Shane Vanatta, Kainen Young, Brailyn Goddard, Corey Haines, Blayden Goddard. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
