Betty Thompson Ralph

Betty Ruth Thompson Ralph, 98, past away on Sunday, Jan. 5th, 2025. She was born in Nashville on June 20th, 1926 . She was the only daughter of Rayford and Francis Thompson with 5 sons. 

In addition to her parents Betty Ruth is preceded in death by husband Luther David Ralph Jr., son Michael R. Ralph, daughter in law Betty Kamifugi, brothers James R (Dick), Rayford O., C Ross Thompson and loving brothers and sisters in laws. 

Betty Ruth is survived by son Luther David Ralph III, daughter Sharon D Ralph, grandson, Raylin A Ralph, brothers Chester A. (June), Larry E. Thompson and loving brother and sisters in law. 

Betty Ruth was a graduate of Hendersonville High School and was the dietitian for Peabody 

Demonstration School later to become University School of Nashville. She attended First Baptist Church in Goodlettsville Tn. 

Favorite activities included working outdoors in her flower gardens, baking her much prized chocolate cakes, hiking in the Smokies with many family members, camping and traveling through out the contiguous 48 states. 

Visitation will be held in the sanctuary of Old Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Thursday, January 9th, 2025 from 11:00 - 12:00 with service from 12:00 to 12:30.
