Betty Raklios

Betty Ann Harris Raklios, 82, passed away Dec. 4, 2009. She was born Nov. 21, 1927 to Thomas Allen and Eula Belle Harris in Goodlettsville, TN. Betty married Hercules John Raklios in 1953. They settled in Seattle, and she retired in 1982. She moved to California and was recognized as "Riverside County Volunteer of the Year" in 2004. She moved to Richland in 2008 to spend more time with her children, grandchildren and extended family. However, childhood friends and Tennessee family were always close to her heart. She loved sports and making new friends.

Betty is survived by her sisters, Mary Louise Sloan and Nancy Smiley;
brothers, Raymond, Thurman and Donald Harris; sons, Larry and Greg Raklios and daughter, Yvonne Atchley, and three grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Edward and Clyde Harris, and sister Hattie Ruth Capp.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Cole and Garrett Funeral Home in
Goodlettsville, TN at 10:00 am Sat. Dec. 12th. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
